Hi everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer and today we'll be taking a look at our Glacier Cable snow tire chains here on our 2013 Chevrolet Cruz. So since your Chevrolet Cruz has really limited clearance around your tire, if you do or are required to have snow tire chais or some kind of traction device, you're gonna need very low profile snow tire chains. And that's what Glacier chain cable chains are made for. You can see how instead of links or chains these have rollers all on their cable and that means you do still get that traction for when it's snowy, when it's icy on the road without taking up too much space behind your tire. So what we have here are steel rollers wrapped around wire cross cables. So those steel rollers as well as those cables are going to be made of a low carbon steel. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2013 Chevy Cruze, we're going to be doing a test fit on our Glacier cable snow tire chains. That's Part Number PW1038.Today we're going to be working with tire size 225/45R18. This is a ladder-pattern chain, so it's going to give us adequate traction for stopping and starting. It features these steel rollers that are going to give us traction in light snow and ice. You'll notice these rollers aren't going to give us as much traction as a link-style chain, but it is going to give us a smoother ride. They have a maximum speed rating of 30 miles per hour. more
